Popular tuning company Roush Performance has produced a series of useful aftermarket upgrades for the new Ford Bronco. So, what do you get for your $8,400?
First of all, you get 17-inch off-road wheels wrapped in 35-inch General Tire Grabber X3 tires optimal for wet dirt conditions. There are five wheel designs to choose from. For nighttime driving and bad weather, a pair of tiny Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro LED floodlights in aluminum casing can be installed on the hood.
Further down the list is an air intake system improving cold air throughput by 30 percent compared to the original. The exhaust system is also upgraded: the new stainless-steel part not only sounds brutal, but also improves the ground clearance and the departure angle.
Rounding off the list are numerous purely aesthetic mods, like assorted body graphics, vinyl wraps and decals, a trailer hitch cover and a special number plate bezel. Open the door, and you will see rugged mats, a watertight storage box, a flashlight and protective gloves, among other things.
It is worth mentioning that Roush has not included any kind of suspension lift or engine boost in its $8,400 kit yet.
