Another Ford Bronco lands with six wheels courtesy of Apocalypse

U.S.-based tuner Apocalypse Manufacturing is famous for its monstrous-looking pickup trucks allegedly designed to survive the end of the world. Since no one’s eager to find out, the builds have been very popular among fans. For today, let’s check out this Ford Bronco 6x6.

Judging by the list of modifications, aesthetics came ahead of practicality in this particular build. The body was stretched by a whopping 915 millimeters (3 feet) and an extra axle was added below, which – as far as the name of the project suggests – is also driven like the other two. A small, but useful truck bed was arranged at the back, the arches were aggressively flared, and whole the exterior landed with a custom body kit. The front bumper in particular was reinforced and coated with Kevlar against any cosmetic damage.

Bespoke 20-inch Forgiato wheels slotted into the wells. The mode was designed specifically for the Bronco 6x6 project and wrapped in 37-inch Patagonia off-road tires. To improve overlanding performance further, a 102-mm (4-inch) suspension lift was implemented.

The interior received a makeover in black and white leather with some decorative stitching. The company claims it was also treated for durability in excessively hot and wet weather conditions.

Power for the badass Bronco still comes from its stock 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, but the tuner did tinker with it to raise the output from 300 to around 400 horsepower.
