Tuners are bringing the 400+PS Ford Bronco to Europe, but there’s a catch

The best-selling Ford Bronco SUV will reach the shores of the Old Continent before the end of the year, but not in the most attractive 400-horsepower edition. Instead, buyers will have to settle for the EcoBoost 2.7 version capped at 335 PS (330 hp / 246 kW). That, or ask Manhart for an upgrade.

The tuning company says it will take the EcoBoost engine mentioned above and tune it up to a cool 421 PS (415 hp / 310 kW), while also boosting the torque to 680 Nm (502 lb-ft). The idea is to install a sports-grade intercooler, a cold air intake, performance catalytic converters, and optimize the software accordingly. The sprint times aren’t available, but it should make a significant difference.

On the outside, the SUV will be wearing yellow and black paint – not a wrap, contrary to what you might think. The interior will follow the same color scheme with Alcantara on the door cards, seats, dashboard, and steering wheel.

Also on the list are 22-inch, 12-spoke wheels designed in the house, six-piston brake calipers at the front end and tinted windows. That, plus Manhart badges all around.

The pricing details are unknown, but the real catch is that, as attractive such a Bronco may look, the tuner only plans to make 10 units of it.
