Some time ago, Ford announced it would revive the famous Bronco SUV series in 2020. For the first time in its history, the car will enter the market as a four-door SUV instead of two-door.
The talented tuner team over at Maxlider Brothers Customs didn’t care to wait until 2020, though. Earlier today, the guys introduced us to a completely restored and modernized 1966 Ford Bronco sporting four doors instead of the original two. Talk about stealing the scene!
The team had to add around 60 cm (23 inches) to the car body and chassis in order to accommodate the additional doors. The car then received a roll cage and a 5.0L Roush Coyote V8 engine capable of 670 hp (500 kW), linked to a six-speed overdrive transmission.
The restomod also received various units and components sourced from Yukon Gear & Axle, Currie Industries, EPAS, Centech, MPT CustomTunes, Wildhorses 4×4, Fox Racing Shox and other aftermarket part manufacturers.
Maxlider will build a custom four-door Ford Bronco for you as long as you have U.S. $250,000 to pay for it.
