Classic Ford Broncos selling a 1968 Bronco restomod

Classic Ford Broncos – a vintage car restoration shop based in Ohio, USA – has posted an ad for a modernized 1968 Ford Bronco packing extra engine power along with some other modern goodies. The asking price is $225,000.

A classy Midnight Onyx paintjob makes the car look expensive and helps it stand out in the crowd. The modern wheels are painted black to match and flaunt huge 33-inch BF Goodrich tires. The chromed bumper bars are left stock, which really isn’t an issue given how stylish they look on a retro-themed off-roader.

Other notable upgrades include a roll cage in the rear – something the original Bronco could have used, too – Wilwood brakes on both axles, and a 2.4-inch (60mm) suspension lift.

The true highlight lies hidden under the hood. Powering the elderly SUV is a 5.0-liter Ford Racing Coyote V8 engine which delivers 435 hp (324 kW) to the wheels by means of the original 4R70W auto transmission.

The cabin sports an opulent leather trim with braided inserts. Modern equipment seems limited to the entertainment system and the five-channel speaker set.
