Ford has released a video showing pre-production copies of its upcoming Bronco body-on-frame SUV running endurance tests in High Desert areas of South California.
The revived Bronco series comes based on the Ranger truck chassis and features double-wishbone suspension on the front axle. In all likelihood, it also comes powered by the same 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine rated at 271 hp (202 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque, which usually hooks up to a 10-speed auto transmission.
That said, a possibility remains of Ford giving the new Bronco the superior 2.7-liter F-150 V6 rated at 329 hp (245 kW) and 542 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque.
