This unusually styled Eldorado Starfire motorhome is up for grabs in the USA right now for an asking price of $34,950, which sounds like a bargain considering its great condition and luxury interior (by the standards of the era).
The Starfire came out in 1987–1989. Eldorado built it on the Ford E-350 Van chassis, outfitting each example with a 7.5-liter carburetor V8 and automatic transmission. To create a sense of class, the company grafted some Lincoln Mark VII front fascia parts onto the van.
This variant of the motorhome is the largest in the lineup at 9.75 meters (32 feet) long. It features a kitchen set, a couple of air conditioners and a WC on board. The dining table is large enough to accommodate up to 10 people, but there is only enough sleeping space for four.
This particular van belonged to one family and was kept in a warm hangar. It has 35,400 km (22,000 miles) on the counter and is in excellent driving condition with a recently serviced carburetor. Pre-sale prepping saw all of its liquids changed along with front shocks, batteries and all nine tires (sounds like they replaced the spare along with the main eight).
