The 2023 Ford Escape seen on these spy shots seems identical to the prototype we saw in June, but this is not the case. Check out the front fender, and you will see the ST-Line badge.
Ford does not offer its Escape model in the ST-Line spec in the United States, but it does have an Explorer ST-Line on offer (see video). That SUV mostly comes with visual upgrades to differentiate itself from the stock version, and no extra power or torque.
The appearance of the Escape ST-Line on public roads might mean that the automaker ultimately also plans to introduce a range-topping Escape ST model complete with drivetrain and chassis upgrades. Of course, it remains to be confirmed or disproved.
In any case, the Escape spotted running around yesterday had an all-new front fascia with a redesigned radiator grille, hood, bumper, anti-fog lights and headlamps. The rear bumper and the taillights also looked different. The engines will probably be left alone.
If we had to guess, we would expect the Ford Escape ST-Line to make debut at a motor show in September.
