The Ford Expedition range will be getting a new entry-level spec in the United States next year, which will make it more affordable overall.
The new trim is called XL and comes priced at just $50,720. The current low spec – XLT – retails for $54,505 and above.
The company says it decided to introduce the new trim level after studying customer feedback. Despite its ‘affordable’ status, it still brings along such niceties as 18-inch wheels, a chrome-coated front grille, a Sync 3 infotainment system with an 8” touch-enabled display, and a three-zone climate control system.
Things stay stock under the hood, where the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 still churns out 375 hp (280 kW) in conjunction with ten-speed automatic transmission.
