This pickup truck saw the daylight in 1956 and has since been driven into oblivion. Apparently, the tuner who bought it for a song did not mind that, because he wanted a restomod anyway.
First of all, the RWD Ford F-100 was engine-swapped to an eight-cylinder Ford Racing GT350 Voodoo mill, which necessitated the replacement of countless other components, including the exhaust system (Kooks), the cooler (Moshimoto), and the transmission (GT350 six-speed manual).
The suspension has also received its fair share of attention. The restored pickup rides on Cobra springs and features an independent (i.e., per-wheel) suspension design. The matte-black paintjob (Keystone KEY9801) lends the body an especially dark and menacing appearance, and the lack of side mirrors helps keep things simple and minimalistic.
As far as we understand, this Ford F-100 will soon be up for grabs at Barrett-Jackson Auctions, where it may easily fetch a six-digit amount in U.S. dollars.
