Carefully restored post-WWII era cars can fetch insane amounts of money nowadays, and this Ford F-100 is no exception, either.
The dark brown pickup truck went through a complete restoration last year, landing with a fresh paint coat, chrome wheels (18” front, 20” rear), and a flatbed lined with natural wood. The same premium material went into the rather more modern-looking steering wheel, while the dashboard was painstakingly crafted to resemble its ancestry. Somewhat clashing with the aura of historical accuracy are modern USB ports, a reversing camera and an audio system.
The restomod utilizes a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8, the same powertrain as the one used in the Ford F-150. A Roush supercharger and a Stage II tuning kit help it churn out more horsepower than stock, and while no official numbers are available, we’d expect 600 hp (450 kW) or more. A modern automatic transmission delivers the thrust to the rear wheels.
The pickup, which left the factory in 1956 and is now in top driving condition once again, costs U.S. $189,900.
