Roush F-150 Nitemare celebrates its debut

For a long time, car tuner Roush has specialized in custom Ford Mustang builds. As the popularity of pickup trucks grew, though, it decided to move with the times and came out with a Roush F-150 Nitemare, based on a 2018 Ford F-150.

Compared to the base truck, the Nitemare features an exclusive radiator grille design, a front bumper cover, atelier logos throughout and a set of 22-inch wheels clad in Continental Cross Contact tires. Options include a soft tonneau cover, an active exhaust system with adjustable sound, and leather seats.

The Roush F-150 Nitemare relies on an upgraded version of its five-liter supercharged engine, capable of 650 hp (486 kW) and 826 Nm (609 lb×ft) of torque. To compare, the regular F-150 is only capable of 395 hp (295 kW) and 541 Nm (400 lb×ft) of torque.

The entire tuning kit costs U.S. $17,000, or $50,000 if you count the car.
