U.S. car manufacturer Ford seems preoccupied with designing the next generation of its F-150 pickup truck series. A few more trucks have been spied out and photographed by car spotters.
Despite the thick camouflage cladding, it is pretty obvious that the new generation only has marginal stylistic differences from the previous one. This is not too surprising, either, given that this specific truck model leads in nationwide sales in the USA. Messing with it too much would only mean hurting the sales.
The company had earlier said it planned to reuse 90 percent of the existing manufacturing facilities in the production of the next F-150.
Despite this, the engine palette will be revised, with new hybrid and all-electric powertrains to be available alongside the old gasoline-based ones.
The cabin trim will also undergo quite a major overhaul. This means both new finishing materials and lots of modern tech options, such as the digital dashboard, high-end multimedia system, and assorted driver aids.
