The best-selling North American truck is ready to transition into a new – fourteenth, no less! – generation. As expected because of the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic, the presentation scheduled on this Thursday, June 25, will be reduced to an online live feed.
The only teaser image provided by Ford so far shows the new LED daytime running lights of the truck. Other than that, we wouldn’t expect the model to change drastically. A further shift into the trendy “edgy and menacing” look is likely what it will be.
The cabin, on the other hand, will be completely overhauled. A large touch-enabled infotainment display will appear on the center console, and the analog dash panel will yield its place to a digital one.
The new Ford F-150 will keep its basic layout, engine range (V6 / V8) and transmission (10-speed auto + AWD). New additions will include hybrid and all-electric versions.
