Texan tuner shop Hennessey Performance has launched sales of its new VelociRaptor package for the Ford F-150. The assortment stays essentially the same as before, but the parts are now compatible with the model years 2019 and 2020.
The main novelty comes in the shape of a 2.9-liter supercharger that fits the stock 5.0-liter V8 and squeezes 750 hp (559 kW) out of it. This upgrade also necessitates replacing the fuel injectors and the intercooler, as well as a few other components. Measured at the dyno, the rear wheels get hit with approx. 550 hp (410 kW). The truck gets from standstill to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.1 seconds and covers a quarter of a mile in 12.2 seconds.
Other exterior additions include metallic bumpers with integrated LED DRLs and a spoiler at the front end, as well as two light bars. If you wish, you can have the suspension raised by up to 150 millimeters (6 inches) and the wheels swapped for 20-inch forged rims wrapped in BF Goodrich KM03 37” tires.
Inside, the Hennessey F-150 VelociRaptor boasts tuner logos on the headrests and plaques testifying to the exclusivity of the build.
