The next-gen Ford F-150 comes in a variety of trims, and if you look closely, you can tell them apart just by their radiator grille details. There are eleven in total, so let’s take a look.
The base specs – XL and XL Chrome – feature a simple black plastic grille. The STX trim adds a honeycomb ornament and a frame/bezel painted to match the car body.
XLT looks like the base spec, but with the chrome-coated bezel and bumper. XLT Chrome is self-explanatory: the horizontal fins and the detail in the middle of the bumper are also chrome.
XLT Sport introduces a grille with a dark steel look and a wider bezel.
The Lariat line boasts its own grille design, which Lariat Chrome complements with shiny vertical ribs and Lariat Sport darkens quite a bit, also painting the bumper to match the main color.
The King Ranch spec introduces Dark Gold finish to the lineup, which King Ranch Chrome highlights with its shiny bumper. Platinum swaps gold out for silver and adds a body-matching bumper.
The flagship trim called Limited goes all-out on extreme grille design, endowing the front end of the pickup with a massive bezel, tightly packed horizontal blinds and a special edition caption on the hood.
