New Ford F-150 spec shudders, shivers and trembles on uneven terrain

The Ford F-Series Super Duty received its Tremor package of off-road options last year, the Ranger followed its example this summer, and the new F-150 finally joins the club next summer.

The truck features a short bed, a ten-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. Its 3.5-liter V6 produces 405 PS (400 hp / 298 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque. The main improvement comes in the form of heavy-duty shock absorbers, suspension arms, couplings and springs. The pickup also benefits from a raised ground clearance and more off-road-friendly geometry.

The F-150 Tremor comes with a Raptor transfer case by default and can lock its rear differential. A limited-slip front differential is a paid option.

On the outside, you can tell the Tremor spec from the production model by its redesigned front fascia, towing eyes, badges and dual exhaust tips. Interior upholstery is new, as is the dashboard.
