Few SUVs can beat the Lambo Urus in terms of sheer power and acceleration. The luxobarge pumps out 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and can hit 305 km/h (190 mph) in a straight line. But will it hold its own against a VERY evil pickup truck?
Before you jump to conclusions, consider that the latest-and-greatest 2020 Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport packs a twin-turbo V8 tuned to deliver up to 770 PS (760 hp / 566 kW). This makes it even more powerful than the Urus – on paper, at least. How much of that power actually reaches the asphalt is another matter entirely. The Italian SUV has plenty of headway here with its sophisticated electronics and an anti-skid system.
To keep things fair, Throttle House conducted three races. The first saw the Urus use its launch control, the second one went without launch control, and the third has a rolling start. How do you think the F-150 fared?
