U.S.-based tuning house SCA Performance has announced a special version of the F-150 truck nicknamed Black Widow. Don’t be mistaken: you can specify your truck finished in grey, red or even white, but it will boast spider-themed badges and styling throughout.
Compared to the standard model, the new one has additional LED DRLs, a heavy-duty front bumper, under shields, and flared fenders. The ride height is around 150 mm (6 inches) above normal, but you can go for a more restrained 102 mm (4-inch) lift if you don’t care about new wheels. A winch at the front is rated for 4.3 metric tons (9,480 lbs) of towing effort.
The example on display here rides on 20-inch wheels shod in 35-inch tires. If you really want it, the crew will install huge 22x12-inch rims instead.
Cab highlights include cobweb ornaments, Black Widow badges, details painted to match body accents, and other such niceties. The powertrain stays standard.
