Lego Technic has announced a Ford F-150 Raptor brick set that will go on sale on October 1, 2021 priced at $100.
The set consists of 1,379 pieces, most of them painted a special orange tint from the Ford catalog. The completed toy is 42 cm (16.5 inches) long, 18 cm (7”) wide and 15 cm (6”) tall.
The hood opens to reveal a V6 with moving cylinders. All doors are functioning, including the tailgate.
As a side note, a Lego Technic Land Rover Defender costs nearly twice the amount despite being the same size as the Ford F-150 Raptor set. That said, the Defender model has more moving parts, including a functional four-speed gearbox and three differentials.
