Shelby’s take on the Ford F-150 is a newcomer to the performance truck segment, but it is a formidable one all the same.
Aside from larger tires and a Shelby American logo, the car benefits from major technical improvements all around. The suspension is taller than before and uses Fox 2.5 shocks at both axles. 22-inch Shelby wheels come wrapped in BFGoodrich KO2 rubber.
The radiator grille is new, as are the front bumper, the air vents in the fenders, the hood cover and the pinstripe. The interior comes trimmed with leather and adorned with carbon fiber inserts.
Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 rated at 785 PS (775 hp / 577 kW). Shelby will produce 600 such trucks and sell them in the USA and select countries across Europe starting from U.S. $114,890 before options.
