The previous generation of the Shelby F-150 Super Snake (see video) packed a five-liter supercharged V8 and produced 761 PS (750 hp / 560 kW), but the new one can do even more if you want it.
Shelby offers its newest Super Snake truck based on the 14th generation of the Ford F-150 with a wide range of accessories and premium features. As for the powertrain, you can leave it naturally aspirated for 406 PS (400 kW / 300 kW) or opt for a comprehensively tuned version capable of 786 PS (775 hp / 578 kW).
Elsewhere, the pickup rides on 22-inch wheels shod in new tires, a special body kit, a Shelby-Borla exhaust system, and a tonneau cover. The suspension benefits from FOX and Ridetech components, while the two-door Sport modification additionally drops the ride height. The interior makes use of leather coming in two colors, carbon fiber décor, embroidered headrests, and more.
Getting from zero to 60 miles per hour (0-97 km/h) succeeds in 3.45 seconds, making the Super Snake faster than the Roush F-150 Nitemare (3.9s), the Hennessey VelociRaptor V8 (4.1s), and the Ford F-150 Lightning (just under 4.5s). Going 0-100-0 mph (0-161-0 km/h) takes 8.3 seconds.
