The Ford booth at the LA show is particularly busy this year with so many visitors eager to see and touch the assorted EVs there, including the upcoming F-150 Lightning pickup. Kyle Conner, from InsideEVs, was lucky enough not just to inspect the pre-production vehicle, but actually drive it down the hall.
The short video clearly shows how hyped the show guests are about the electric truck. Similar reactions are being reported for the Hyundai Seven, Kia EV9, Porsche Taycan GTS, Subaru Solterra, Toyota bZ4X, and Fisker Ocean as well.
The truck should reach the market in the spring of 2022, but with 160,000 pre-orders on its hands, Ford admits it is more than it can deliver within a year.
