A while ago, Hennessey announced a ~$100,000 tuning package called VENOM 775 for the latest Ford F-150. A recent video clearly demonstrates what you get for the money.
Once modified, the F-150 gets a twin-screw supercharger with three liters of its own displacement to drive the stock Coyote V8 to 785 PS (775 hp / 578 kW) and 929 Nm (685 pound-feet) of torque. Many other powertrain components get replaced, too, and the result is tested both on the dyno and on the racetrack to ensure optimum settings.
Going up against the boosted truck is an entirely stock Jeep Trackhawk with 717 PS (707 hp / 527 kW) and 875 Nm (645 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal. An eight-speed A/T drives all four wheels, letting the bulky SUV sprint to 97 km/h (60 mph) in 3.5 seconds.
Watch the video and witness how efficient proper performance tuning can be.
