Ford Motor Company continues to refresh its product range both domestically and internationally. Our today’s guest us the new F-150 Raptor performance pickup truck that hasn’t changed much on the outside but comes with thoroughly reworked suspension.
The vehicle now features hi-end adaptive shock absorption with electronics-controlled springs. The new suspension instantly adjusts to any kind of road surface by setting up each spring individually.
The suspension algorithm is Ford’s point of pride. The springs stiffen whenever the truck goes on normal road surface and relax whenever it hits bumpy road. The car electronics ca even detect turns and adjust the shock dampers accordingly. It also prevents the car from bottom impacts whenever its rear wheels lose their ground.
As a result, the road performance of the new Ford F-150 is reported to be massively better on all road types.
The car still ships with the same old 3.5-liter, 380-hp / 283 kW V6 engine working in tandem with a ten-speed automatic transmission.
