Hennessey Performance has posted its first dyno test video of a VelociRaptor 700, which is just a fancier name for a customized Ford F-250 Platinum Super Duty. Let us look at it up close.
The boosted pickup truck hits the wheels with 527 PS (520 hp / 388 kW) and 728 Nm (537 lb-ft) of torque. It remains to be clarified what engine it was, specifically: the candidates include a 6.7-liter diesel V8 and a 7.3-liter petrol V8. In either case, the performance numbers were lower than the claimed target of 700, so we should learn more when the work progresses.
Elsewhere, the F-250 test truck sports Method Race wheels, larger tires, a slight lift kit, and Hennessey badges throughout.
Since the Ford F-250 does not have a Raptor variant from the factory, the tuned version should prove rather popular among the tuner’s clients.
