Barrett-Jackson has posted Lot No. 3001 for a gargantuan Ford F-350 Lariat truck extensively tuned by Truck Hero. The pickup has made an appearance at several recent shows, including the SEMA 2018 and 2019.
The build boasts a platform that is nearly 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) long and gets its thrust from a diesel V8 rated at 450 hp (336 kW) and 1,268 Nm (935 lb-ft) of torque. An automatic transmission sends the momentum to all four wheels, and air-ride suspension ensures proper acceleration performance on highways. The car has been driven for around 11,000 kilometers (6,814 miles) since tuned.
Exterior highlights begin with the AkzoNobel Modern Classikk body finish and Ford Performance kit. The body looks stripped clean of smaller details, including the door handles, and the wheel arches are occupied by huge 24-inch Fuel Offroad Dually Maverick wheels wrapped in Dilente Bandit rubber.
The 2019 Ford F-350 Lariat hides its last surprise under the hard bed cover, which flips skyward to reveal a 65-inch TV set and a Maxxsonics audio system. The tailgate turns into a nice table for two, setting up the mood for a picnic at the roadside.
