Shelby puts some polish on the Ford F-150 Raptor

Shelby American has come up with an option package for the latest F-150 Raptor, lending it a rally aesthetic along with suspension, interior and engine improvements.

On the outside, the truck now sports black stripes, a hood with air vents, a rugged body kit, a radiator grille with SHELBY lettering instead of FORD, and some auxiliary lighting at the front and on the roof. Further modifications included roll bars, a couple of spare wheels and automatic running boards.

Interior novelty manifests itself through seat upholstery, assorted carbon fiber décor, branded floor mats and a special edition plaque.

The 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 under the hood gets a boost by 76 PS (75 hp / 56 kW) and 135 Nm (100 lb-ft) of torque to a total of 532 PS (525 hp / 391 kW) and 826 Nm (609 lb-ft). The suspension receives a BDS lift kit and FOX shocks along with some other upgrades. 18-inch Shelby Raptor wheels come wrapped in 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 tires.

The new Shelby Raptor comes in at $124,820 USD, nearly double the price of the standard model shown in the video here. The stock F-150 can be bought for $65,375.
