Ford F-Series quietly celebrates 40,000,000 units made

The ford factory in Michigan has rolled out its 40,000,000th F-Series truck, an F-150 Tremor spec finished in Silver. Contrary to what you may expect, it will not go to an auction or a museum, but rather head to its buyer in Texas.

The Ford F line traces its history as far back as 1947, when the first-generation F-1 model came to the market. It is now 75 years old with the 13th and 14th generations sold side by side.

For the past 40 years, F-Series pickups are considered the most popular vehicles of their kind in the United States. 726,000 units was sold in 2021 alone.
