Ford is ready to introduce a new member of the F-150 truck family, CEO Jim Farly said in a tweet yesterday. Today, the company has officially unveiled a new variant of the pickup called Rattler.
The Rattler is marketed towards adventure seekers who are just starting out. It boasts special exterior accents and benefits from certain off-road upgrades. An XL spec at heart, it makes use of the FX4 option pack with its under shields, tweaked suspension, electronic rear diff lock, and various terrain assists.
The new truck rides on 18-inch aluminum wheels shod in all-terrain tires and rocks F-150 Rattler badges with snakeskin background. New seat and dash trim are the biggest highlights in the cab.
The Ford F-150 Rattler will arrive in the United States showrooms this fall, and all prices remain to be announced.
