Legoland Florida Resort has taken the wraps off its latest creation – a Ford F-150 Lightning pickup truck pieced together from hundreds of thousands of Lego elements.
The 1:1 reproduction of the car imitates the four-door Lariat spec as closely as it can with functional headlights, running boards and a full-size bed. A team of 15 specialists had spent 1,600 hours perfecting the build since July.
The video provides a brief overview of the result. The whole project required 320,740 Lego bricks and ended up weighing 1,692 kilograms (3,730 pounds) – more than a half of the curb weight of the actual truck.
Make sure to have a look at the video – the sheer scale of the undertaking is very impressive.
