The famous founder of Shelby American, the late Carroll Shelby, would have turned 100 years old this year. To commemorate his contribution to the car industry, his company produced a batch of 100 heavily tuned pickup trucks.
The base car is a Ford F-150 Crew Cab Lariat. In its Centennial Edition guise, it can go with a stock five-liter V8 rated at 406 PS (400 hp / 299 kW) or its supercharged version capable of double the power.
Regardless of the version you choose, you will be getting a custom ventilated hood, Fox shock absorbers, performance brakes, power-assisted running boards and 22-inch wheels shod in BFG KO2 off-road rubber. On the outside, the truck will be recognizable thanks to Shelby’s signature radiator grille, anniversary badging, racing stripes and assorted aero trim.
The Ford F-150 Shelby Centennial Edition can be yours starting from U.S. $129,450.
