Ford F-150 gets an update heading into next year

At the North American International Auto Show that just kicked off in Detroit, Ford has unveiled the facelift lineup of its F-150 truck, including the Raptor version. Prices start from $38,565.

Compared to its predecessor, the 2024MY pickup has a revised front grille, headlights, front bumper and wheels. The tailgate now supports a feature called Pro Access, which manifests as a small hinged door and facilitates access to the cargo when space is tight.

By default, the F-150 comes equipped with two displays 12 inches large. A heads-up display is also available for the first time on record, while the BlueCruise autopilot suite offers an extended list of features and is now offered via subscription, too.

The engine lineup has a gap where the entry-level 3.3-liter V6 used to be. The new base spec utilizes a 2.7-liter turbo engine with 325 PS (321 hp / 239 kW). As an alternative, you may consider a V6 3.5T, a V8 5.0 and a hybrid powertrain. The Raptor lineup gets exclusive access to a 5.2-liter V8 option, which can surpass 700 horsepower (522 kilowatts) – but only in the top-end R spec.
