Texas-based tuning company Hennessey Performance is once again offering the Venom 775 upgrade package for non-Raptor Ford F-150 trucks. The old ones are all sold out, but another batch of 250 is coming up soon.
The tuning centers around a particularly efficient supercharger with 3.0 liters of its own displacement, driving the stock 5.0-liter V8 to 786 PS (775 hp / 578 kW). The torque also skyrockets from the stock 556 Nm (410 lb-ft) to 985 Nm (727 lb-ft), drastically improving the capabilities of the pickup off the grid. Further replacements include the air intake, multiple injection and fuel system components, and the exhaust.
Tuned like this, the F-150 needs 3.6 seconds to zap 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) and proceeds to do a quarter-mile run in under 12 seconds. Buyers also get a 150mm (6-inch) suspension lift, new 20-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain rubber, and Brembo performance calipers.
Buying a prebuilt truck like this one is possible from $100,000 before options.
