MegaRexx, a popular truck and SUV tuner from the USA, has unveiled yet another MegaRaptor seven-seater based on the Ford F-250 Super Duty chassis. The large pickup wound up with reinforced suspension and extra legroom for the rear passengers.
The four-door cab lost its partition separating the bed from the interior. Special braces were installed on the bed to support a glass-fiber plastic bed top. Located below is a large bench for two adult passengers that can automatically fold down when not needed. The company claims that the passengers enjoy more legroom that they ever would in a conventional seven-seat vehicle.
The suspension received new coil springs, King shocks and leaf springs. The arms and sway bars were upgraded for the increased weight. 46-inch tires were put on robust 20-inch military-grade wheels.
On the outside, there is no mistaking the MegaRaptor thanks to its massive LED bar, widened fenders and running boards. The company claims the vehicle is around 20 inches (50 cm) wider than stock.
Since the base truck is an F-250 in one of the top trims available, it comes preloaded with such nice features as a two-zone HVAC, leather upholstery, a back-up camera, a B&O audio system and a multimedia system.
Things stay stock under the hood, where a 6.7-liter diesel mill drives a 10-speed A/T with 475 PS (469 hp / 349 kW) and 1,423 Nm (1,050 lb-ft) of torque.
