The Ford F-450 Super Duty is a respectable and no-nonsense truck with an iconic appearance, which is why a YouTuber named Woodworking Art thought it would make a fine wooden replica.
As usual, the talented carpenter started by choosing the raw wood blocks to work with. He then saw them into several parts and shaped those parts to vaguely resemble the car. Step by step, the blocks took on a more detailed shape, ultimately becoming parts of the chassis, the truck bed, the cab, and so on.
Like all earlier works we saw on this channel, the F-450 boasts a great level of detail. It has a functional hood cover, side doors, a tailgate, folding side mirrors and even retractable running boards. There is even a sunroof you can open and windshield wipers you can move, but the interior – unusually enough for Woodworking Art – is not detailed.
