The B-Class may very well be the most crowded vehicle class in Europe with such highlights as the Peugeot 208, the Opel Corsa, the Renault Clio, and the Volkswagen Polo. And then there’s the Ford Fiesta, which has been lagging behind the competition lately.
Apparently, the carmaker wants to remedy the sales of this particular model with a modest nip-and-tuck. The test vehicle seen on the latest spy pics wears plenty of camo along with some fake bodywork at the front end. Even so, you can discern new headlights and a differently styled rear bumper. The hood is slightly open, and a cable extends from it, likely to gather powertrain data for further optimization and testing.
The Fiesta line received a few mild-hybrid versions last summer, as well as a new dual-clutch automatic transmission available in all electrified specs.
