In some countries, the Ford Fiesta lives a double life as a compact hatchback and a small commercial van. Today, both have been facelifted for the next year.
The 2022 Fiesta van still has two seats and three doors, but it now boasts LED Matrix headlights and comes in two trim versions named Trend and Sport. The differences are largely aesthetic and can be found both outside and inside the car.
Buyers get two new exterior colors to choose from, dubbed Boundless Blue and Beautiful Berry. The base wheel is 15-inch stainless steel, but pay extra, and you will get an 18-inch set. The Ford badge now sits on the front grille, and the grille itself is noticeably larger.
Sports suspension comes optional for the Fiesta van, and the interior can be trimmed in two main hues. The seats have been optimized for ergonomics and sport red inserts. The trunk area offers 0.96 cubic meters (33.9 cubic feet) of space, and the weight capacity is 531 kilograms, or 1,170 lbs.
Pop up the hood, and you will see an EcoBoost 1.0 mill assisted by an electric motor for 125 PS (123 hp / 92 kW). Some markets will get it in slightly different specifications from the one described here, including a bi-fuel one that supports E85.
