The organizers of the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB have invented a creative way of luring more spectators in for the upcoming race. They filmed a promotional video featuring a Ford Fiesta racecar descending a cableway in the Zip World amusement park in Wales, Great Britain.
The stunt was performed by Matt Edwards and Elfin Evans, both renowned rally drivers. According to the CEO of Dayinsure Wales, the team performed two tasks at once by providing a bird’s view of the entire rally circuit and advertising Great Britain’s most picturesque places for extreme tourism lovers.
The Ford Fiesta wasn’t the first vehicle to engage in extreme sports, though. In the beginning of 2018, a Range Rover Sport ascended a 45° steep stairway consisting of almost 1,000 steps.
