Tuning studio from the UK
prepared a special sport package for the "hot" hatchback. While no
one was able to increase the performance of the Ford Focus RS engine in more
than Mountune - up to 400 horsepower.
The upgrade program, called
the M400, included the installation of a new intake and exhaust system,
flashing the engine management program, and equipping the car with a different,
more efficient intercooler.
The complex of operations
made it possible to increase the turbo engine capacity by a working volume of
2.3 liters per 50 horsepower and to increase its maximum torque by 124 Nm (up
to 564 Nm).
The cost of updating
Mountune M400, without regard to its installation, in the UK will be 2,912
pounds (about 3,200 euros).
