Following a lengthy QA phase, H&R has launched an enhanced set of sport springs meant for the fifth-generation Ford Focus. The package is only compatible with the latest Focus sedan so far, and only if you opted for the ST-Line suspension.
According to the German company, the new springs bring the vehicle 25 mm (1”) closer to the ground. As a result, the car becomes easier to steer at high speeds, especially when making sharp curves. Even a sudden redistribution of weight shouldn’t result in a loss of control over the car.
Predictably enough, the new springs also lend the Ford Focus a sportier stance.
The H&R Ford Focus kit costs €279 in Europe. Later on, the company plans to release Trak+ wheel spacers that you can use to tune the wheels’ positions perfectly within their respective arches.
