The AutoTopNL team from Netherlands continues test-driving various tuned-up cars on a speedway in Germany. A few days after their 1400hp Nissan GT-R test, they got behind the wheel of a particularly angry Ford Focus.
The hatchback got its power upgrade from Milltek. No technical details are provided, except that the mods did not boil down to simple ECU tuning. In the end, the output rose from the factory-guaranteed 350 hp (261 kW) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) to 440 hp (328 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft). A sports-grade exhaust system was also installed.
The Focus proved to be a great sport on the autobahn, reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill in 4.9 seconds and proceeding to accelerate all the way to 274 km/h (170 miles per hour).
