In an original pre-Christmas marketing move, Ford has begun accepting pre-orders for the soon-to-be-released Focus RS Race Red Edition Steilheck available exclusively in Great Britain.
A total of 300 premium-grade cars lacquered in the titular body color will be produced. Compared to its stock counterpart, the new Ford Focus RS Race Red Edition features a rear wing, model-exclusive 19-inch wheels, and the roof and rear view mirror holders painted jet black. It also comes with a parktronic system, sports seats, cruise control, warmed-up steering wheel and other nice features catering to driver’s well-being.
The new Ford Focus RS Race Red Edition hatchback gets to keep the stock two-liter turbo engine with 345 hp. Driven by it, the car accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-58 mph for those interested) in 4.7 seconds.
The limited edition of the Ford hatchback can be preordered in Great Britain at £36,295.
