Most of us have come to associate the name of Colin McRae with the Subaru brand, because the famous rally driver won his ultimate title piloting an Impreza. However, a Ford Focus played a role just as important in his career, and it is currently available for bidding.
McRae drove this Focus during the New Zealand stage of the world rally championship, coming second. An accident prevented him from continuing the season, but the car was later restored and participated in a few other racer. Once retired, the Focus was reverted to the exterior paint scheme and technical specifications that it had back in 2001.
The iconic ride is now on sale with a starting price at £300,000. The mileage is rather modest: the current owner only drove it once.
