A teaser video partially demonstrating the upcoming generational update of Ford Focus has been uploaded by the manufacturer. The refreshed vehicle will debut on April 10, 2018, and subsequently go into production in June.
The new fourth-generation Ford Focus will be based on a brand new car platform and weigh 50 kg (110 kbs.) less than the current model. A total of five specifications, including off-road and luxury, will be available for purchase at varying prices.
According to an unconfirmed source, the engine lineup of the new Ford Focus will encompass gasoline engines 1.0 and 1.5 liters large, as well as 1.5- and 2.0-liter diesels. Some expect a soft-hybrid Ford Focus RS to be released by 2020 with 400+ hp (300+ kW) at its disposal.
