The North American car manufacturer Ford has officially introduced the fourth generation of its public favorite, the Ford Focus. For the first time in the history of the model, there will be a luxury and an off-road modification.
The refreshed Ford Focus lineup utilizes the brand-new C2 chassis which comes with improved noise insulation and greater rigidity. It also weighs almost 100 kg (~220 lbs.) less. The motor palette consists of 1.0-liter gasoline engines coming with 85, 100 or 125 hp, depending on the particular model, and 1.5-liter engines with either 150 or 182 hp. Buyers may also consider 1.5L and 2.0L diesel engines capable of 95 and 150 hp, respectively.
The updated series offers a wide variety of electronic systems and features for greater driving safety, assistance, and comfort. The higher the trim level, the more is available.
The new Ford Focus will be released in five specifications, including the luxurious Vignale and the off-road Active.
