Lego has introduced a new member of its Technic family – a 1:12 scale model of the Ford GT. The toy supercar consists of 1,466 parts and costs $120.
The finished replica is roughly 38 cm (15 in) long, 18 cm (7 in) wide and 9 cm (3.5 in) tall. It has a flexible trunk lid spoiler, per-wheel suspension and a steering wheel that actually steers the front wheels. The doors swing open and the hood pops up to reveal a miniature EcoBoost V6.
It will take around four hours for an experienced Lego brick set enthusiast to piece together the car. The set is designed for adults, not children.
