Several unofficial shots showing the next-generation Ford Kuga during its routine road tests have recently surfaced on the Internet. It’s a pity we won’t be seeing the car on the streets until at least 2020, though. It’s still at a pretty early stage of development.
Reportedly, the new Ford Kuga is based on the same chassis as the 4th-gen Focus. It is also going to be quite a bit bulkier than its predecessor.
Nothing else is being revealed about the technical data or performance of the car at the moment. Nonetheless, industry professionals tend to agree that the new Kuga is most likely to ship with a hybrid engine in the base version – whereas a full-electric model is unlikely.
