The recent photos of the Maverick pickup don’t betray much about its exterior, but they are better than nothing.
The main difference from earlier photos comes in the shape of a new radiator grille divided into small rectangular sections. The truck looks barely smaller than the F-150 and considerably lower than its predecessor.
Judging by the independent rear suspension, this must be an AWD version. Lower specs will probably get a pivoted axle instead. As for the powertrains, those will likely come from the Escape SUV and include a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo rated at 180 PS (178 hp / 132 kW) and a 2.0-liter turbo four-pot good for 250 PS (247 hp / 184 kW). A hybrid is also possible.
