Ford seems especially proud of the styling direction of its new Mondeo for China, because the entire press release published a few hours ago focuses solely on its exterior and omits details.
The design language is the same as in the latest Evos and Equator models. With a bold-looking front fascia and LED lighting spanning the entire width of the car, the new Mondeo looks decidedly aggressive. A side view is also rather impressive with new wheels, arches and fenders.
A look from behind reveals Mustang Mach-E taillights with triple vertical lines. A faux diffuser lends the exterior an extra bit of sporty character, while the door handles sit flush with the body, Tesla-style.
No technical characteristics have been revealed. A badge at the rear end reads ‘245’, which could imply a 2.0L EcoBoost four-pot with 245 PS (242 hp / 180 kW).
